Advanced Classes – Boys
The Men’s Artistic Gymnastic (MAG) Program at EYGC is robust, which it trains students for many levels of competitive gymnastics; Regional, Provincial and National.
To identify young athletes that have the right attributes to manage the physical and mental demands of the sport, as well as the commitment and drive to reach the top levels, EYGC has created a Talent Identification Program called “Boys Mini”.
Within this program, athletes will begin their education on the six events of boy’s gymnastics – Vault, High Bars, Parallel bars, Rings, Pommel horse and Floor and will be taught in the areas of flexibility, strength, coordination, focus, balance, agility, body awareness, alignment, and basic body positioning.
If chosen for these teams, please be aware this does not guarantee a spot on our competitive team, only the opportunity for us to work with your son to foster and develop the physical, technical, and emotional skills necessary for a competitive program.
This is a non-competitive program, by test or invitation only. 3 or 6 hrs per week.
For additional information please contact the Men’s Head Coach.
